Infinity Dreams Award :)

Hey everyone! How is your week coming along? We've been having a nice, slow week. Which is awesome. ;) Also, some of you probably realized that I missed last Friday's post. . .I'm really sorry!! I completely forgot, and I (obviously) didn't schedule it ahead of time. So that post is going to be coming this Friday. :)

In the meantime. . .

Shantelle over a A Writers Heart tagged me for the Infinity Dreams award. Thanks, Shantelle!! :)
Okidokie! Here goes.

Tell us 11 facts about yourself

1. I play piano
2. I been to fourteen States. . .all in the western/midwestern part of the U.S!
3. In my lifetime, my family has moved ten times. First in Washington, then Oklahoma, and now Kansas.
4. I am very introverted, but when I meet someone for the first time I tend to talk a lot about nothing at all because of how nervous I am.
5. History and English are my strong suits as far as school goes. Science is right behind them, but math it, well. . .let's just not talk about math. ;P
6. I do most of the cooking and baking in our family.
7. I love reading!! And writing. :)
8. My favorite book of the Bible in the New Testament is Romans, in the Old Testament it's Ecclesiastes.
9. I have been told that I am a tease. Not sure how true that statement is
10. I am currently working on editing a book about friends-turned enemies, a bother and sister, and medieval Ireland. (The Celtic version of Be Thou my Vision may be my new favorite song!)
11. Eldorado is like my favorite place EVER to go in Kansas!

Okay, now it's time for the questions! :)

How many books do you hope to read this year?
150!! But I'm not sure if I'll reach the goal. :)

What's your favorite song?
Augh! I have so many favorites!! Be Still, My Soul--Just be Held--Love you with the Truth
Yeah. . . that was more then one.

What's your least favorite holiday?
Halloween. Celebrating death and all that. Grr! Isn't it awesome that we can celebrate life because of Jesus?

Why do you blog?
Well, this blog was specifically started for a place I could share about all things books and  writing! :D
I originally started blogging on a different blog a couple years ago when my dad was diagnosed with cancer, and that's what got me into the blogging world. :)

Favorite dessert?
Chocolate cake and rocky road ice cream!! (Or maybe cappuccino ice cream. . .it's become a new favorite! ;))

One movie coming out in 2016 you want to watch?
One?! Well. . .I'm super excited for "God's not Dead 2". Also "The Ultimate Legacy" and "The Reckoning". Hmm, that was three, wasn't it? If there was a penalty for breaking the rules in this tag, I would be in trouble. ;P

Some books set for 2016 releases you want to read?
 To name a few. . .
Alice and Alyssa, by Rebekah Eddy
The Last Ride, by Susan K Marlow
Resist, by Emily Ann Putzke
Anchor in the Storm, by Sarah Sundin
That's all for now.. .I'm sure I'll come across some more later! :D

What historical era intrigues you most?
WWII! A close second would be Medieval. WWII is just so interesting with everything that was taking place during that time. It's so amazing to look at all the pieces of the puzzle that fit into WWII. . .it's just fascinating! And of course, the medieval time period is so interesting as well!

Where would you love to visit?
That would have to be a tie between Ireland and Germany!

Some of your favorite blogs?
The Imaginary World of Emily McConnell
Simply Stories
Counting your Blessings One by One
A Writers Heart
Stories by Firefly
C'est La Vie
. . .And there are quite a few more I really enjoy, but I won't take the time to list them all here. ;P Maybe sometime I should do a post about my favorite blogs. . .that would be fun! :)

What things inspire you to write/blog?
Words. Words are so beautiful. Without language, without words, the world around us would be silent.
Songs especially inspire me. Something about words with a tune make it just all the more
meaningful. The emotion that words can evoke is just so amazing.

Nominate 11 bloggers and set questions for them.

  2. I agree with Halloween! But that was the day I was baptized, so it has a special memory with it. :) Instead of Halloween, I went around wishing people a happy Reformation Day this year (it is the day that Martin Luther hung his 91 Thesis on the church door, which started the Protestant Reformation). It was fun!
    God bless!

P.S. I completely agree with the words. Someday I should do a post on my favourite words. And then one on my favourite names!

So, for the facts. #4 isn't exactly true. ;D We talked about books and POVs from "The Silent Blade". That isn't nothing, right?
#9 is totally true. Definitely falls under 'facts'. xD

Well, so me it felt like I was rambling. If it sounded like a legitimate conversation to you then that's awesome! ;) After we left I was like "ya know, she probably thinks I'm some weird person who can't stop talking". xD
What?! I don't tease you! Well. . .not *that* much!
Yeah. . .but January is always a slow month around here, so I doubt I'll read that many in one month again. ;)
Yes, it's an amazing song! Was it on the radio???
      *returns high-five* Thank you. :)

    2. Haha, you weren't rambling. ;) Earlier that day I had thought of SO many things I meant to say, but forgot! O_o
Just the "older sister" teasing, right? :D
No...nothing good was either. >_< But I downloaded it to my iPad last night! Ahhhh!!! I love it. :)
I know, right?!?! Like every time I eat it now, I think of that. :-)
TWHH?? Hmm...sounds familiar... xD Yes, that's the plan! I can't make any promises about when WT will be done though. ;)
Hahaha! I loved that line! It much less pathetic, and makes 10 times more sense than this stupid line I saw in the library earlier... *eyeroll*
